I am a member of Bzz Agent and receive items to try out from time to time to spread the word about the products. The latest thing I received is for those who are health conscious. At 80 calories per slice the Health-full bread from Arnold, Oroweat or Brownberry offers 4 soft and delicious varieties. Depending on where you live you can find the brand name from either Arnold, Oroweat or Brownberry. I found the one I tried under the Arnold brand name. The 4 varieties include 10 Grain, Nutty Grain, Hearty Wheat and Flax & Fiber. The slices are larger than most breads available on the market today which allows for making a hearty sandwich. Each slice not only has 80 calories but also is made with whole grain, between 4 or 5 grams of fiber and 5 grams of protein. There are no artificial colors, flavors or preservatives. Sounds good so far, right? I tried the 10 Grain variety which has 5 grams of fiber per slice and 5 grams of protein per slice. This is the link for the product I tried from the Oroweat website: http://www.oroweat.com/Our-Products/Breads/Health-full/10-Grain.aspx. I made a sandwich with turkey, ham, cheese, lettuce, tomatoes and mayonnaise mixed with a little ketchup. I seasoned the meat with a little garlic and pepper. I toasted the 10 Grain bread in the toaster. I am not really a bread eater so here is what I think of the 10 Grain Bread. It was a great sandwich with a nice flavor from the bread. On the top of the bread you can see the sunflower seeds along with other grains and seeds. The toppings on the bread make it a little crunchy which adds to the texture. I have not tried any of the other varieties but I am sure they will be just as good as the 10 Grain Bread. If you want to try out some recipes there are many of them available at LoveYourBread.com/recipes. Overall, the flavor is very good for the bread that I tried. I was able to find it at Kroger's for $4.29. I had a coupon to cover the full cost of the bread from Bzz Agent. I think this is very expensive for bread compared to other brands that are available. I probably would not have tried it without having the coupon since I don't spend that much money on bread. If you are not worried about the amount you pay for items, then the cost would not be something to worry about. I would purchase this bread again if I had a coupon to offset the price. I think if you try it with one of your favorite sandwiches or one of the recipes from LoveYourBread.com/recipes you will enjoy a healthy, hearty sandwich. Try it, you just might be hooked!
